Creating Appointments
Create appointments from the calendar or the quick-add form.
Starting a New Appointment
There are multiple ways to create a new appointment:
Using the Calendar
Click on an empty time slot in the calendar to start creating an appointment. The form will pre-fill the date and time based on where you clicked.
Client Selection
Search for existing clients by name, email, or phone. You can also create a new client on the spot or book for an unregistered guest (walk-in).
Service Selection
Choose the services for this appointment. Browse by category or search by service name. You can add multiple services to a single appointment.
Staff and Time
Select the staff member who will perform the service and choose an available time slot. See staff availability at a glance and filter by services they can perform.
- Click the "New Appointment" button in the header
- Double-click an empty time slot on the calendar
- Right-click on the calendar and select "New Appointment"
Duration and end time calculate automatically based on the selected services.
Additional Options
Configure additional appointment settings like notes, reminders, recurring schedules, and resource reservations.
Confirming the Appointment
Before saving, review all the details. Click "Create Appointment" to confirm the booking.
What Happens After Creation
Once you create an appointment, the system will:
- Add it to the calendar
- Make it visible to assigned staff
- Send client notification (if enabled)
- Sync to Google Calendar (if connected)
Walk-in Appointments
For walk-in customers without prior booking, create an appointment with an unregistered guest. You can enter minimal details or proceed anonymously. Walk-ins are tracked as unregistered guests in the system.
Booking Conflicts
EasyBook prevents double-booking by checking staff availability, resource availability, and business operating hours.
