Time Blocks
Reserve calendar time for breaks, meetings, or other non-bookable periods.
Creating Time Blocks
To create a time block:
- Right-click on the calendar at the desired time
- Select "Block Time"
- Enter a name for the block (e.g., "Lunch Break")
- Set the duration
- Choose which staff it applies to
Types of Time Blocks
Different categories of time blocks serve various purposes:
Focus Time
Reserve dedicated time for tasks that require concentration, such as planning, training preparation, or project work, without appointment interruptions.
Break
Schedule lunch breaks, rest periods, or short pauses for staff members. Breaks help manage energy and ensure staff are refreshed between appointments.
Admin
Block time for administrative tasks such as paperwork, inventory management, team meetings, or other business operations.
Personal
Allow staff to block their own time for personal matters or appointments outside work.
Out of Office
Mark time when staff are away from the business entirely, such as offsite meetings, errands, or other commitments outside the workplace.

Edit, move, or delete time blocks as needed:
- Edit time blocks to change their time or duration
- Move blocks using drag and drop
- Delete blocks when they're no longer needed
Time Block Permissions
Access to time block management varies by role within the organization.
Deleting Time Blocks
To remove a time block from the calendar:
- Click on the time block to select it
- Choose "Delete" from the action menu
- Confirm the deletion
Deleted time blocks free up that time for new appointments and online bookings.
