Blocking Clients
In rare cases, you may need to prevent certain clients from booking appointments. EasyBook allows you to block clients while maintaining their history for reference.
When to Block a Client
Consider blocking a client for:
- Repeated no-shows without notice
- Inappropriate behavior toward staff or other clients
- Non-payment or payment fraud issues
- Violations of your business policies
- Safety or security concerns
How to Block a Client
To block a client from making bookings:
- Open the client's profile
- Click the "Block Client" option
- Enter a detailed reason for the block (internal only)
- Confirm the blocking action
What Happens When Blocked
When a client is blocked, several restrictions take effect:
- Client cannot make new online bookings
- Staff see warning alerts when attempting to book
- Existing future appointments can be cancelled if needed
The client's historical data and past appointments remain accessible for reference and reporting purposes.
Managing Blocked Clients
- View all blocked clients in a dedicated list
- Review block reasons and dates
- Unblock clients when circumstances change
- Track blocking history for compliance
Viewing Blocked Clients
To access your list of blocked clients:
- Navigate to Clients section
- Select "Blocked Clients" filter or tab
- Review the list with block reasons and dates
Unblocking a Client
To restore a client's ability to book:
- Open the blocked client's profile
- Click "Unblock Client"
- Confirm the unblock action
The client can immediately make new bookings after being unblocked.
