New Features

Eight Languages, One per Account

EasyBook now speaks Spanish, Greek, French and Portuguese alongside English, Albanian, Italian and German, and the language you choose now belongs to your account rather than to one device.

• Choose Español, Ελληνικά, Français or Português in the partner app, on the booking site and in the EasyBook app
• Booking emails, booking policies and the wording of repeating appointments arrive in the new languages too
• Your language is saved to your account when you sign up, and EasyBook opens in it every time you sign in, on any device
• Change the language in one EasyBook app and the others follow
• Visitors to the booking site who are not signed in are offered the local language of the country being shown, with a Switch to button

Preview a Venue Before It Goes Live

See a venue exactly as clients will before you publish it, and open the live page in one click once you have.

• The Publish section of a venue has a Preview button while the venue is unpublished and a View public page button once it is published
• A preview is clearly marked, and booking is turned off while you are previewing
• A preview link stops working after an hour, so a link that gets passed around does not stay open

Where EasyBook Is Available

EasyBook runs country by country. The booking site shows the country you are in when EasyBook is available there, and tells you plainly when it is not.

• Browsing from a country EasyBook does not serve yet, you see which country and city are being shown instead, with a Change city button
• The country list in location search only offers countries where EasyBook is available
• A business address is picked from the address suggestions so its country is always known, and the suggestions come in the language you use the app in

Notifications That Take You There

Push and in-app notifications now carry a short message as well as a title, and open the thing they are about.

• In the partner app, a notification opens the appointment, request or invitation it concerns, and the Notifications list shows the message under each title
• In the EasyBook app, a booking notice opens the appointment, a review request opens the review, and a pass or membership notice opens your wallet
• A request to approve a sign-in goes only to devices you already trust, and tapping it opens the approval straight away

Calendar

The Year view is rebuilt, and on a phone the Day view gains a week strip.

• The Year view lays the twelve months out side by side and highlights the days that have bookings; tap a day to open it, or a month name to open that month
• On a phone, swipe the Year view left or right to move a year at a time
• On a phone, the Day view has a strip of the week under the header: tap a day to jump to it or swipe the strip to change week, and the header shows the full date
• Pull down on any screen of the partner mobile app to refresh it

Improvements

• Available times load faster, most noticeably at venues with a large team
• When the booking site picks the first available day for you, that day is highlighted so you can see it was chosen for you
• Starting a membership charges the selected plan's price, and the membership runs from the start day you pick
• The date picker drags smoothly and settles without a flash when you let go

Bug Fixes

• A team member working a split shift no longer shows as busy during the break between the two parts
• When one section of a venue or team page cannot load, it shows its own error instead of leaving the whole page blank
• Starting a membership no longer hits a dead end when the business has no membership plan yet
• On iPhone, page titles no longer slide under the status bar, and the first column of the mobile Team view is no longer cut off
• The apps no longer flash white when you move between them on your phone, and your chosen appearance loads correctly on every page
