Version 2.4.0

Appointment import, a redesigned appointments list, faster time picking and reliable iPhone push notifications in version 2.4.0.

New Features

Import Your Appointment History

Bring past and upcoming appointments into EasyBook from an Excel or CSV file, so your history and your calendar are complete from day one.

  • Upload the file, map its services, staff, venues and statuses onto yours, then review before importing
  • Rows without a service are imported as a plain visit
  • A confirmation step when you drag an appointment to another day in month view, showing the new date, letting you adjust the time and warning about overlaps

Managing Appointments on the Customer App

The appointments page was redesigned so your upcoming visits and history are easy to scan, and rescheduling takes a single tap.

  • Filter by All, Upcoming, Completed or Cancelled, scroll without paging, and open details side by side
  • Reschedule in one tap from the home screen or an appointment card
  • A booking that still needs the business's approval reads Appointment Requested, with a note that you will be notified once it is confirmed

Notifications on Mobile

Push notifications now reach iPhone reliably and take you straight to the right screen.

  • Tapping a business notification opens that business's page in the app at the exact screen
  • Completed appointments trigger an invitation to leave a review
  • If notifications were previously denied, the prompt sends you to system settings, or explains how to re-enable them in the browser

Sharing, Feedback and Rewards

Inviting friends and reaching us from the app is simpler.

  • A richer share sheet with SMS, a Share to Story card carrying a scannable QR code of your invite link, and separate wording for referring a friend or a business
  • Choose a saved delivery address when redeeming a reward instead of retyping it
  • Send feedback from inside the app, with links to support and the help center; settings shows your business by name if you own one

Improvements

  • Choosing a time is dramatically faster: the next open date is found in one go and the first day's slots are ready before you reach the step; opening reschedule no longer stalls
  • Availability dots on the calendar match the times actually offered for the professional you picked
  • Dragging, resizing and creating appointments feel the same across day, week and month views, and dropping an appointment onto a past day is blocked
  • The partner calendar is noticeably faster on mobile, with a redesigned appointment card, bottom sheets with a grab handle and close button, and a redesigned bottom navigation
  • Your chosen appearance is applied before the first paint, so there is no flash of the wrong theme on launch; Ocean and Night dark appearances are selectable on the customer app
  • Switch back to your personal account from the dashboard header or menu
  • Security emails about a new device or sign-in location no longer show a city or country, which was often wrong on mobile networks

Bug Fixes

  • Push notifications now arrive on iPhone, devices that had already granted permission register correctly, and the app-icon badge count is right
  • Opening the app no longer triggers a new sign-in security email every time
  • Using EasyBook on more than one device no longer signs the other devices out early, and a flaky connection no longer ends your session
  • The Confirm button on the review step is no longer stuck disabled, and a double tap on Confirm can no longer create two bookings
  • Upcoming appointments refresh immediately after you book, cancel or reschedule, and a booking with no availability looks further ahead instead of stopping
  • Sign-in, password-reset and settings pages no longer intermittently fail
  • Rebooking reminder emails link to the venue's real booking page
  • Analytics charts and date/time pickers render with the correct colours in dark themes, and durations under five minutes are rejected with a clear message
