New Features
Classes and Passes
EasyBook now goes beyond one-to-one appointments. Businesses can run classes, courses, workshops and events on a full timetable and sell passes that cover them. Customers browse the timetable, reserve a spot and keep their passes in a Wallet.
- Build a class schedule with per-day times, instructors and co-teachers, a waitlist and an end date, then publish it
- Manage rosters and waitlists, mark attendance and close a class with a present / no-show summary
- Customers see spots left, filter by instructor, reserve a single session or enrol in a whole course, and move or cancel their own class bookings
- Sell passes and class packs covering specific services or everything you offer; customers buy a pass in the same basket as the class it covers and see credits left, validity and status in their Wallet
Memberships
Recurring plans give your regulars a simple way to stay with you. Build a plan, decide whether customers can join on their own, and keep an eye on who is paid up from the member desk.
- Set the billing cycle, joining fee, minimum term, grace days and notice period, and choose what each cycle grants — passes or a plain charge
- Publish plans for self-service joining or keep them desk-only, and see who is paid up, due, late or paused
- Customers request to join, see what each cycle includes and when the next payment is due, and can end an agreement themselves with the consequences explained upfront
- Customers show a QR code at the front desk to have a pass or membership request pulled up, approved and paid in person, with live status on their phone
Business Hub and Payments
Money matters now live in one place. The Business Hub brings revenue, requests and performance together, and the desk till lets you settle a visit in a single handover.
- Take payment in cash, against a pass, or write it off with a reason, with a clear view of what is already paid and what is still owed
- A filterable transactions ledger with team-only notes, and an owed view showing who owes money, what is overdue and since when
- Every headline figure links through to the list behind it, and Revenue and Payments are merged into one screen
- A client desk page opened from a scanned card: today's sessions with one-tap check-in, attendance, passes and memberships
Booking Policies
Define the terms a booking is sold on and let EasyBook apply them. Customers see their deadlines and exactly what cancelling costs before they commit, and the desk can always forgive what the terms took.
- Set lead time and booking horizon, whether new bookings are instant, auto-confirmed after a delay or approved manually, and stricter approval for first-time clients
- Free-cancellation and free-reschedule cutoffs, refund share on late cancellation, no-show consequences and arrival grace
- Attach terms at organization, venue or service level; bookings keep the terms they were made under even if you change them later
- Return credits, lift strikes or clear fees for individual clients from the desk
Calendar
The calendar was rebuilt around how teams actually work, and it now shows the calendars you already keep. Google Calendar events, Meet links and invitation replies are part of every booking.
- Choose which Google calendars block your availability and which are drawn on your EasyBook calendar, with sync status per calendar; private events show only as Busy
- Time blocks and personal events support recurrence, colour, location, a video-call link, attendees and email reminders, and Google Meet links can be attached to any booking
- Guests answer invitations with Yes, Maybe or No from the email or in the app, and the organizer sees who is coming
- A team day view with a column per staff member and drag-to-reassign, a free/busy grid, venue closures with a preview of what they affect, and a calendar settings screen with an external-calendar subscription
Party Bookings and Spaces
Book for more than one person in a single appointment, and let EasyBook keep track of the rooms, courts and booths your services need.
- A private service can seat several people, each with their own professional and services, and the booker names who each seat is for so they receive the confirmation
- Availability accounts for the whole party, and you are told plainly when a venue cannot serve everyone at once; customers can also book with any professional and let the venue assign one
- Define kinds of space shared across venues and the actual spaces at each venue with their capacity; services can require a kind of space and bookings are assigned a specific one
Search and Booking for Customers
Finding and booking on the customer app is faster and covers everything a business offers, from a single appointment to a full membership.
- One search across businesses, services, classes, professionals and categories, with a dedicated classes tab and distances from your location
- One booking flow for appointments, classes, courses, passes and memberships, ending on a single confirmation screen; online and hybrid bookings show the meeting link
- Business logos on venue headers and search results, service thumbnails, class images and cover images uploaded by the business
- Native push notifications on iOS and Android open the right screen, and businesses are notified when a pass is requested or a class is booked
Account and Help Center
Your account is easier to manage, and help is closer at hand.
- Deactivate or delete your account from settings: deactivation hides your profile and is undone by logging back in, deletion runs on a 30-day grace period you can cancel
- An account hub with cover image and profile picture uploads, username sign-up and sign-in, and pull-to-refresh on mobile
- The help center opens inside the app, and a class-first onboarding path guides businesses that run classes rather than one-to-one appointments
Improvements
- Pages on the customer app open noticeably faster, so navigation feels instant
- Prices are consistent at every step: a quote is fetched before you confirm, you are told if the price changed while you were booking, and you are never asked to pay for something already covered by a pass or membership
- Booking refusals explain themselves in plain words — slot gone, professional no longer free, venue closed, session just filled up, already enrolled, or email not yet verified
- Booking and desk actions are protected against duplicates, so a retry or flaky connection cannot book or bill you twice
- A decluttered appointment form with a single location field, a draggable preview pane and a client picker that searches or adds a client inline
- A restructured catalog page with a result count, capacity per offering and one card shared by services, classes and passes; archiving or removing an offering shows what it affects before you confirm
- Editing a recurring class or series sends each person one consolidated update with a single calendar invite, and cancelling a series removes it from recipients' calendars
- A unified back button, forms that submit from a header checkmark, a reorganized settings sidebar, and appointments in the past as an organization-level option
Bug Fixes
- Recording a cash payment now completes successfully
- Class schedules no longer generate phantom revenue for sessions nobody booked
- A pass granted by a membership no longer emails the member as if they had bought it, membership dues no longer appear in the pass-request queue, and an unanswered pass request no longer shows as the client's debt
- The desk's outstanding figure and the list it links to always agree
- Multi-staff venues no longer reject a slot the availability calendar just offered, and an any-professional booking now finds one
- Class services no longer appear in the one-to-one appointment flow, and a failed booking preview no longer reports success
- Signing in with Apple keeps the name Apple provides
- A background refresh no longer wipes out what you are typing in the service form, staff assignments or appointment form
- Moving a single occurrence of a recurring event keeps its location and video-call link, and rescheduling a time block updates on screen immediately
- Invitations to join an organization are no longer silenced, delayed or sent in the wrong language by the inviter's own notification preferences
- Settings and protected pages stay open on a valid session instead of returning you to sign-in
- A discount is stated either as a percentage or as an amount, never both
