Account Closure
If you need to step away from EasyBook, you can deactivate your account temporarily or delete it for good.
Deactivate or Delete
Both options are under Settings › Account › Deactivate or delete account:
- Deactivate hides your profile and bookings and signs you out everywhere; log back in at any time to reactivate.
- Delete schedules permanent deletion of your account and personal data after a 30-day grace period.
- Both ask you to verify your identity first.
- You can tell us why you are leaving.
Closing Your Account
To delete your account:
- Go to Settings › Account › Deactivate or delete account.
- Choose Delete account and, optionally, a reason.
- Verify your identity.
- Click "Delete my account" — you'll receive an email with the exact deletion date.
What Gets Deleted
- Your user profile and personal details.
- Your preferences and saved addresses.
- Connected account links and passkeys.
- Your active sessions and devices.
- Bookings and payments you handled stay in the records of the organizations you worked with.
GDPR Compliance
Deletion follows the GDPR right to erasure:
- Personal data is removed after the grace period.
- You receive confirmation by email.
- You can cancel during the grace period by logging back in.
Before You Can Delete
Deletion is blocked until you resolve the following:
- You are the only Owner of an organization — appoint another Owner or close the business first.
- You have upcoming appointments as a professional or a customer, or payments still being settled.
The app checks this for you and lists what needs attention.
After Deletion Is Scheduled
- You are signed out on all devices.
- Logging back in before the deletion date cancels the deletion.
- Once the grace period ends, the account cannot be recovered.
